Aleppo Soap

In my 20ies I was a bit of a cosmetic junkie so I would try all sorts of cosmetic products thinking I would do something good for my hair and skin - but later on I realised that less is more and the more natural the product the better it is. I mean not a big surprise, I am very conscious about the things I eat so I should also be conscious with the things I put on my body.

In the past few years natural cosmetics were my favorite but at this point the range of ‘products’ I use is just the bare minimum. I used Dr. Hauschka face cream in the past but lately I only use coconut oil to put on my skin and it works just fine. Now I discovered Aleppo soap, I had heard of that special soap a lot in the past but never thought about actually trying it out…but once I read that you can even use it for washing your hair, I had to try it since I was not so happy with the normal hair shampoo that I used before. I always used shampoo without silicones, parabens and all the other chemical toxins but I pretty much had to wash my hair every day or every second day in order for it to look good.

Now I use Aleppo soap to wash my hair, body and even to brush my teeth! Aleppo soap has been used in Syria for thousands of years and it even made it to travel over to Europe where it got a bit modified into the also well knows soap from Marseille according to what I have read.

I like to keep things simple and natural so I am really happy about my Aleppo soap discovery. It is a great cosmetic product free of chemical toxins, super affordable and I can recommend it to you if you like to keep things simple and natural as well.
